Earthquake of 5.0 magnitude strikes Nepal, tremors felt in north India

NEW DELHI: An earthquake of magnitude 5.0 struck Nepal on Friday evening, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) reported. The quake occurred at a depth of 20 km with epicentre in western Nepal .

Light tremors were felt in several parts of north India .

There were no immediate reports of damage or casualties .
