NEW DELHI: The Centre on Saturday has picked seven MPs across the parties to lead seven all-party delegations to key partner nations, which comes in the wake of Operation Sindoor, which was launched on May 7 after the April 22 Pahalgam attack.
Opposition leaders Shashi Tharoor and Kanimozhi will collaborate with ruling alliance members, including Ravi Shankar Prasad and Sanjay Jha, to lead seven all-party delegations to key partner nations. Their mission is to communicate India's stance of zero tolerance against terrorism following Operation Sindoor. Additional MPs selected include NCP-SP's Supriya Sule , BJP's Baijayant 'Jay' Panda and Shiv Sena's Shrikant Shinde.
The parliamentary affairs ministry stated on Saturday, "The all-party delegations will project India's national consensus and resolute approach to combating terrorism in all forms and manifestations."
"They would carry forth to the world the country's strong message of zero tolerance against terrorism."
The government's selection of delegation leaders reflects representation across the political spectrum, comprising articulate voices from various parties.
The chosen leaders, including four from the National Democratic Alliance and three from the INDIA bloc, are experienced parliamentarians with extensive public service.
Which delegation team is going where?
Each delegation, comprising six to seven MPs, is scheduled to visit approximately four to five countries.

Former Union minister Salman Khurshid, though not an MP, will join Jha's delegation. Meanwhile, Trinamool Congress MP Sudip Bandyopadhyay declined participation citing health concerns.
