CHANDIGARH: PM Narendra Modi will visit flood-hit Gurdaspur district of Punjab on Sept 9, state BJP announced Sunday. He "will share the sufferings of flood-affected brothers, sisters and farmers by holding a direct meeting with them and would take every possible step for their help", the party wrote on X. It added Modi's visit "proves BJP-led Centre always stands by people of Punjab and will assist them in their tough time".
