Actor Prashant Bajaj, who will soon be seen in the upcoming film Jatt with stars like Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda, shares his thoughts on the evolving landscape of celebrity culture, social media and the fine balance between personal and professional life. In an era where celebrities are more vocal than ever about their private lives, Prashant believes that an actor’s true identity should be defined by their work rather than their social media presence.
Sharing more about his role, Prashant said, "I’m really excited about my role in Jaat. It’s one of the most intense and brutal characters I’ve ever played. The look itself takes almost two hours to get into, it’s a complete transformation. I have some powerful scenes with Sunny Deol sir, Randeep Hooda and Vineet Kumar Singh and working under Gopichand sir’s direction has been a game-changer. He really knows how to bring the best out of an actor. I’ve done work in both Hindi and regional cinema before, but with Jaat, I feel like I’ve hit a new level. Going forward, I really want to take on more grey and impactful roles that stay with the audience."
Podcasts have become a major trend, allowing celebrities to share their professional journeys and personal experiences. While many use them as a medium for self-expression, Prashant believes that work should always take precedence. “Podcasts are a great way to stay relevant in the industry, but I still believe that if you perform well on screen, everything else takes care of itself,” he said.
Prashant has been part of shows like Vartul, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, Ramleela and Ayushman Bhava. In December last year, the actor made his Bollywood debut with the film Vanvaas, directed by Anil Sharma.
