Raipur: In view of the soaring temperatures, the Chhattisgarh govt has announced revised operating hours for all govt and non-govt schools and educational institutions in the state.
The new timings will be effective from April 2 to April 30, 2025. All primary, middle, and high secondary schools operating in a single shift will function from 7:00 am to 11:00 am, Monday to Saturday. Schools operating in two shifts will have primary and middle school classes from 7:00 am to 11:00 am, while high secondary classes will run from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
This change was implemented to protect students from excessive heat exposure during peak afternoon hours, ensuring their well-being. There will be no change in administrative office hours, and school authorities have been instructed to strictly adhere to the revised schedule to safeguard students from extreme weather conditions.
