Jacqueline Fernandez's mother Kim Fernandez passes away: Report

Mumbai: Actress Jacqueline Fernandez is going through a tough time. As per latest reports, her mother, Kim Fernandez, passed away today on April 2 at Lilavati hospital in Mumbai. However, an official confirmation from Jacqueline’s family is still awaited. Kim was rushed to ICU after a heart stroke on March 24.

She was taken to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai and was in the ICU.

Mother Faced Health Issues Before

Kim Fernandez had health problems before. In 2022, she had a stroke and was treated in a hospital in Bahrain. Kim lived in Manama, Bahrain. She had a mixed background—Malaysian and Canadian—with family roots from Goa, India.

Jacqueline Stops Work to Be with Family

Jacqueline has decided to pause her film work for now. She wants to be with her family during this difficult time. She was working on her upcoming movie Welcome to the Jungle. Recently, she acted in Fateh with Sonu Sood and Naseeruddin Shah. She also has other movies like Housefull 5 coming up and is expected to work with Salman Khan in Dancing Dad. But for now, family comes first.
