
Amazon Web Services (AWS) has crashed, causing a significant portion of the internet to go down with it. Down Detector reports that AWS is offline, affecting a wide range of services including Ring Doorbells, Snapchat, Roblox, Canva, Fortnite, Duolingo and more.
Game Union TV experts have stated: "Amazon Web Services (#AWS) infrastructure collapsed and thousands of their clients are facing issues (everything from #Asana to Crunchyroll, McDonald's and #Roblox)."
Several companies have issued apologies on social media, but AWS has yet to comment. Even the ability to submit a support ticket to Amazon has been affected, with users being greeted by a "service page is currently unavailable" message.e
Cielco Wigle Inc announced: "Please note that due to a widespread Amazon Web Services (AWS) outage, you may experience a temporary disruption in our services. This issue is not specific to Cielo, but it is affecting numerous digital services worldwide, including ours."
Yala Softwares also posted: "Temporary Service Disruption. Please note that due to a widespread Amazon Web Services (AWS) outage, you may experience a temporary disruption in our services. The issue is affecting numerous digital services worldwide, including our services."
A spokesperson for Coinbase said: "We're aware many users are currently unable to access Coinbase due to an AWS outage. Our team is working on the issue and we'll provide updates here. All funds are safe."
