Reform voters give Keir Starmer a score out of 10 - and it's absolutely brutal

Reform UK conference attendeees have issued scathing verdicts on Sir Keir Starmer with one calling for him to resign over the small boats crisis. The Daily Express asked delegates at the Birmingham gathering to give the Labour Government a mark out of 10 for its performance so far.

Stephen Cooling said: "Minus 10. I think Starmer's incredibly weak, if there's a decision of two things he'll pick the wrong one every time." On the biggest issue affecting Britain, he added: "100% boats, boats and the human rights court, it's ridiculous. We're frightened for our women, we're frightened for everything.

"You've got men of fighting age, undocumented, unchecked, flooding the country. The first job of a Government is to protect its people and Starmer isn't doing that. He should resign."

Anderson Okie gave Sir Keir's Government a score of "minus 40".

He said: "You hear that phrase common sense a lot, we the British public, we're just common sense people, that's all it is, nothing more than that.

"I love this country, my father came here from Nigeria as an immigrant, the right way, I brought my life here, I love this country, I played professional sport for this country, I just want to give something back to the community."

Member Richard Harborne added: "Minus 20. They're no longer fit for government, they never really were.

"We're going to change all the really terrible things that are being done to this country by the political classes who don't really care very much about the people and care much about themselves.

"We'd encourage people who love their country, who love their community, who genuinely care for this country to step up now and join us."

Reform councillor Christopher Hudson said: "How far negative would you like me to go? Minus infinity."

On the biggest issues facing the country, he added: "Lack of good governance, control of immigration, law and order, and putting the British people first. That's what needed and we're not seeing it."

Reform member Archie Catchpole gave Labour a score of one out of 10.

Asked what he thought the most pressing problems affecting the UK were, he said: "I think the immigration crisis, the boats. I also think foreign aid. We need to focus the majority of our money on the British people."

Sophie Preston-Hall, Reform's interim Thurrock branch chair, said: "I think we're going to have to go in the minuses."

Antony Love added: "We're faced now with little more than a socialist Prime Minister and people think socialism is something cuddly that sits in the corner but no it's not. He's doing unbelievable damage to this country."
