*Warning - This article contains major spoilers for Wednesday season 2 part 2.*
Netflix has finally unveiled the second chapter of Wednesday season 2 today, and fans are all echoing the same sentiment about Tyler Galpin (Hunter Doohan).
Despite his frequent clashes with Wednesday (Jenna Ortega), a large number of viewers have expressed their "heartbreak" for him, speculating that season 3 could mark a significant shift for the Hyde.
While Tyler may have committed some dreadful acts, audiences can't help but feel sympathy for the character who has spent his life being manipulated by others and has endured the loss of both his parents.
Taking to X, previously known as Twitter, one viewer shared their thoughts on the scene where Tyler visits Wednesday in the hospital, stating: "This scene burned my heart.. being manipulated, groomed and used.. and craving for love to set him free..."
Another posted: "Anytime Tyler trusts an adult he gets hurt, i'm so tired please season 3 just give him a break, let him heal and find his forever home i'll never beg for anything again."
A third praised Doohan's portrayal of the role, tweeting: "Hunter Doohan absolutely nails Tyler's complexity in Wednesday. The charm, the torment, the duality - he slips between vulnerability and menace with such precision it's unsettling. A masterclass in layered performance."
Netflix enthusiasts also believe there were several 'clues' suggesting Tyler and Wednesday might want to rekindle their relationship in the next season, reports the Mirror.
Whilst Wednesday is brewing a potion to trap Tyler in his Hyde state and control him, her spiritual mentor Principal Weems cautions that her 'emotions' for Tyler will compromise her decision-making.
In the finale, Wednesday demonstrates her concern for Tyler once more when she chooses to liberate him from Isaac's laboratory following his plea for her to end his life.

Although Tyler has threatened Wednesday's life throughout the series, he appears torn when his uncle Isaac attempts to bury her alive.
Discussing the duo's concluding scene together, one viewer contended: "This just further proves how deeply connected Tyler and Wednesday are. We got confirmation that both Wednesday AND Tyler STILL have feelings for each other. She saved him, gave him mercy and he didn't actually want her to die."
A second penned: "I can't even tell you how I feel right now.. Witnessing Tyler's inner battle, the betrayal and Wednesday's realising that she's attracted to him.. WE ARE SO BACK! ! !".
Another contributed: "He already gave up but she never. Deep down Wednesday knew that there's a hope for Tyler... For them..."
Supporters believe series 3 might introduce a redemption storyline for Tyler as the programme's conclusion suggests a fresh beginning for the character.
At series 2's conclusion, a devastated Tyler loses his mother for the second time, and subsequently we witness a melancholy image of him positioned before both his parents' headstones.
At this juncture, the enigmatic Nevermore music teacher Isadora Capri extends a hand to Tyler, offering him a 'support group' that will provide him with 'a pack of his own' rather than a new master.
"Tyler redemption arc imminent," one fan penned, while another speculated: "So in season 3 it looks like they'll finally explore the feelings Wednesday has for Tyler and explain to us what the REAL reason is behind her freeing Tyler."
Another viewer enthused: "My baby Tyler better get happiness in season 3 please he's been through enough! PLEASE let him be with Wednesday please or just let Capri NOT BE EVIL. PLEASE. Let her be a positive mother/adult figure."
Wednesday season 2 is available to stream on Netflix.
