Meghan Markle has shared a popular video of Prince Harry to marks Veterans Day in the US. On Instagram, The Duchess of Sussex uploaded a video of Harry - from years ago - running off during an interview in Afghanistan when he served in the Armed Forces.
The duchess uploaded the video, alongside a recent photograph of her husband talking with a war veteran, to mark Veterans Day in the US. She captioned the post: "As my husband says, 'Once served. Always serving.'
"Thank you to all who served, sacrificed, and continue to serve. Honoring you on Veterans Day. And every day."
Prince Harry served in the Armed Forces for 10 years before meeting Meghan Markle, and carried out two tours of Afghanistan.
He has spoken a number of times about his experiences, including in his bombshell 2023 memoir Spare.
Harry has also continued to try and make life better for war veterans, including through The Invictus Games Foundation which he set up in 2014.
The foundation aims to help injured ex servicemen and women.
While Harry has not marked Remembrance Day today, he did appear in a surprise video link on Sunday at the Heroic Hearts Project Gala, wearing his British military medals.
The event, run by Heroic Hearts Project, was in aid of supporting war veterans dealing with PTSD.
Appearing on the video link at the gala, Harry was heard saying: "As a combat veteran and someone who cares deeply about mental fitness I've seen how important genuine veteran-led support is.
"You guys have created a safe space where courage isn't defined by silence but by showing up. Where strength isn't the absence of struggle, but the willingness to face it."
