has reportedly been left "not happy" struggling to secure celebrity guests. Despite her efforts to attract A-listers, the show has primarily featured influencers and entrepreneurs rather than well-known personalities. In the latest episode, Meghan interviewed her friend and hairdresser, Kadi Lee, who owns Highbrow Hippie salon in the Los Angeles area.
This choice has surprised many, especially considering Meghan's past associations with high-profile entertainers like Serena Williams and Mindy Kaling. Industry insiders have noted the lack of prominent celebrities and speculated about Meghan's podcast's long-term viability.
"She's dialled all the big names, but no one's picked up, and the absence of high-profile guests in the lineup raises eyebrows. Especially hers," an insider told Radar Online.
"I mean, she lives in California and the best she can do is a woman who runs a dating app.
"There's no Taylor Swift. No Beyoncé. Not even a Hailey Bieber. And when you're pitching female empowerment, that's a problem! It speaks volumes for her pulling power. She's not happy about her lack of appeal."
It has also been reported that it has been difficult to book A-list guests due to scheduling conflicts, with many potential participants having busy calendars.
"Securing buzzworthy guests typically requires strong industry connections, but with Meghan's current outreach yielding few callbacks, her ambitious vision may suffer due to more prominent figures in the entertainment world. She needs to turn this tide and attract the star power to elevate her podcast into a must-listen experience," they added.
The latest episode of comes after she spoke about the difficulties of being a "working mum" and nursing a poorly Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet at home in episode two last week.
Meghan revealed that, at the time of recording, one of her children had RSV (respiratory syncytial virus)-a common cause of coughs and colds-and the other had influenza A, a form of flu.
The Duchess shared: "With that comes the woman who is juggling it all and doing it all from home, being confident enough to tell the truth about what's going on, because you can't give grace to someone in the same way if you just have no sense of it."
