M62 traffic: Car fire sparks delays and chaos near Huddersfield

The M62 is experiencing major delays after a broken-down vehicle caught fire near Huddersfield. Drivers should expect long delays in the area this morning (Monday, July 7).

The fire was first reported by traffic monitoring site Inrix at 6.20am. A lane is now closed heading eastbound between junction 22 for Rishworth Moor and junction 23 for Huddersfield.
