are reportedly finalising the structure of the add-ons as they attempt to complete a deal to land Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen. The Reds are closing in on his signature after winning the title by 10 points during Arne Slot's maiden season at the helm.
Liverpool have reportedly put together a to convince Leverkusen to sell the 22-year-old, who has been one of the shining lights in the Bundesliga for the last couple of seasons. And the attacker could put pen to paper on a five-year deal at Anfield should he opt to move to the Premier League.
Wirtz has been courted by a host of clubs this summer, with Manchester City and Bayern Munich also chasing his signature.
But City have pulled out of the transfer battle due to the prodigious transfer figure involved, while Bayern are reportedly resigned to missing out on him.
According to transfer guru , Liverpool are expected to complete the deal for Wirtz soon and there is optimism around the move. The add-ons structure is the final detail being negotiated and the transfer will not be a long saga.

Wirtz, who has bagged six goals in 29 games for Germany and starred for his country at Euro 2024, travelled to England to meet with Slot earlier this month. He was reportedly left captivated by the Dutchman's passion and the passion of the club and their fans.
And he has ultimately decided to join the English club, despite being wooed by Bayern boss Vincent Kompany during a meeting with the ex-Manchester City defender.
"Much more has been written than spoken," explained Bayern Munich CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen as he discussed their failed pursuit of Wirtz.
"FC Bayern is one of the absolute top clubs in Europe and the world. Our appeal among fans, but also among players, is enormous. The fact that not every player will end up with us is simply part of the package, it's the same for other top clubs.
"But everyone knows, with FC Bayern you can win everything every year - you're involved in every competition. The upcoming Club World Cup is a good example of that.
"Just look at which clubs are represented there and, most of all, which [clubs] aren't. The best European clubs are competing there - including FC Bayern. Our appeal, sporting ambitions, and economic power are well known to all top players around the world."
