US President is holding an Oval Office press conference on Friday to bid farewell to Elon Musk as he leaves the administration. Announcing the conference on TruthSocial, Mr Trump said: "This will be his last day, but not really, because he will, always, be with us, helping all the way. Elon is terrific! See you tomorrow at the White House."
Mr Musk had been working in the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). This week, he criticised Mr Trump's "massive spending bill" that expands the federal deficit and "undermines the work"of the department he is now leaving.
