Monsoon has entered almost all the states and union territories of the country. Due to heavy monsoon rains, flood conditions have arisen in many places. Monsoon is wreaking havoc, especially in the hilly states. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has also issued a heavy rain alert in some states.

According to IMD, heavy to very heavy rains are likely in western Uttar Pradesh and eastern Rajasthan today. At the same time, rain with thunder and lightning can be seen in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Where will it rain in UP?
According to IMD, there is a possibility of lightning and heavy rain in many districts of UP today. IMD has issued an orange alert, especially in southern Uttar Pradesh, including Prayagraj and Jhansi. Apart from this, a yellow alert has also been issued for rain in Ballia, Varanasi, Bilaspur, Etawah, and Kanpur.
How will the weather be in Delhi?
Delhi NCR will not get relief from rain for the next few days. People here may have to face humidity and scorching heat again. However, the sky will remain cloudy during this time. At the same time, according to IMD, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning in Mundka, Zafarpur, Najafgarh, Dwarka, IGI Airport, Bahadurgarh, and Gurugram.
Clouds will continue to rain in the Northeast.
Talking about the northeastern states, flood conditions are likely to persist in most of the states. People will not get relief from rain in these states yet. IMD has warned of moderate to heavy rains in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, and Tripura.
7-day alert issued
The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for the next 6-7 days in many states. This list includes Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, and Vidarbha of Maharashtra. At the same time, heavy to very heavy rains are expected in the coastal areas of Konkan and Gujarat including Mumbai.
