Emergency response plan of India If India goes to war with Pakistan against terrorists, there will be no shortage of food grains in the country. Giving details of the buffer stock of various types of food grains, Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Rural Development Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan (India Emergency Response Plan) said that there is sufficient stock of wheat, pulses, rice and fruits and vegetables.
In view of the tension prevailing between India and Pakistan (India Pakistan War News), the central government has fully geared up to deal with any emergency (Modi government strategy). The government is concerned that even in adverse circumstances (civil safety measures), it should not have a direct impact on the common life.
Regarding this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had given necessary guidelines in a review meeting with the secretaries of various ministries on Thursday. After that, senior ministers of the government have taken charge of the ministry-wise preparations. On Friday, a series of meetings of different ministries continued.
Preparations complete on every front- Though the government is busy in preparations on every front, but there is special emphasis on the arrangements and preparations of those ministries which have a direct impact on the common life.
- Keeping in view public safety, Home Minister Amit Shah held a high-level review meeting with the Directors General of CISF, BSF and Bureau of Civil Aviation Security.
- He gave instructions to exercise special vigilance in the security of areas bordering Pakistan, airports and important establishments.
- Union Health Minister JP Nadda held a high-level meeting with senior officials of the Health Ministry to review the preparedness of emergency health facilities.
The officials reported on the current status of medical preparedness to deal with the emergency situation. Deployment of ambulances, adequate availability of medical supplies including supply of equipment, medicines etc. The Health Minister directed that all the State Governments, especially at the district level, should effectively establish ground level contacts with the bordering States, so that immediate emergency healthcare services can be ensured whenever required.
Banking and financial services will not be affectedAt the same time, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman held a high-level meeting regarding the preparations of the banking sector and cyber security. Digital applications, UPI etc. were discussed and officials were instructed to be prepared to deal with any emergency. Banking and financial services should not be affected.
Review meeting with officialsTo ensure safety of infrastructure and road traffic in emergencies, Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari held a review meeting with senior officials of the ministry and officials of border states.
Instructions to stay in touch with security agenciesGadkari directed all officials to remain alert and to remain in touch with necessary management, state governments and security agencies. Similarly, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan held a review meeting with senior officials of the Ministry, Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) and Rural Development Ministry.
After the meeting, he assured that information has been taken from the officials about crop sowing, food grains, fruit and vegetable production and availability. Guidelines have been given to ensure that farmers do not face any problems in the current circumstances. Wheat, rice and other grains are available in sufficient quantity in the country.
