CBSE Podcast: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced an innovative initiative aimed at assisting students, parents, and educational institutions. This new program will deliver educational content and counseling through podcasts and digital platforms. The goal is to disseminate accurate information and provide support to the community. These podcasts will also be accessible on popular platforms like YouTube, ensuring a wider audience can benefit from them.
Enhancing Academic Support
This initiative is designed to bolster CBSE's existing academic and counseling programs. It will facilitate easy access to a variety of advice and information concerning studies, examinations, mental health, and overall student welfare. Here’s how students stand to gain from this initiative:
Increased Student Participation
Engaging Students: To make the initiative more engaging, CBSE has decided to involve students directly. They will have the opportunity to share their insights, experiences, and discussions through short videos or audio clips. These contributions will be featured in the official podcasts, on social media, and across other digital platforms. CBSE believes that when students participate, the content becomes more relatable and beneficial, allowing them to engage in significant educational discussions.
Guidelines for Schools
Instructions for Participation: CBSE has directed all affiliated schools to nominate students from classes 9 to 12 who are articulate and confident. These students should express a desire to participate and share their perspectives.
Participation is voluntary and requires written consent from both the student and their parents or guardians, which must be submitted through the school.
Schools wishing to nominate students must complete a Google Form provided by CBSE, including the names and brief profiles of the students. This submission should occur within ten days of the notice. This is an optional opportunity that offers students a platform to voice their opinions.
