A woman has been branded 'entitled' for the way she approached a potential . If you're looking for a new job, you'll know how frustrating the process can sometimes be. Applying for jobs can involve a lengthy questionnaire, and you'll need to prove you're appropriately qualified before getting considered for an interview.
But what if you could turn up to your dream workplace and get hired on merit alone? That's the technique one woman tried recently - although her methods . An anonymous man working at a "small tech company" recounted the story on , where he said he was left baffled by what the woman tried to do.
In his post, the employee said the woman showed up and "demanded a job", even though she didn't have a CV and hadn't formally applied for any open positions.

Instead, she claimed she deserved a job at the company because she'd taken an IQ test and had scored "highly". However, when the man took a look at the score, he was left confused - as it was "barely above average".
He said: "I'm working at a small tech company and this woman shows up literally demanding a job. No resume, nothing, just says 'I took the IQ test and my score proves I'm qualified.'
"She flashed her phone and showed me a score that was barely above average. She started going off about how her IQ is everything and that we'd be dumb not to hire her. When I told her we have an actual hiring process, she screamed that her IQ alone should be enough."
Intelligence quotient (IQ) tests assess cognitive abilities and provide a score meant to measure intellectual potential and ability.
However, multiple neuroscientists have claimed IQ tests do not accurately measure a person's intelligence, as they only test cognitive skills across a narrow and specific set of criteria.
IQ tests are also unreliable, as many factors, including fatigue or a psychiatric condition, can influence the result. This means that your IQ might fluctuate depending on which day you take the test.
Commenters on the man's Reddit post agreed with his decision not to give the woman a job at his company. Many said they found it "pompous" to put an IQ score on a CV.
One person wrote: "Putting an IQ level on a resume is an automatic red flag in my eyes. It shows pompousness."
Another added: "Aptitude qualifies you not IQ. You could be the smartest person in the room but if you can't do the work, you're essentially useless."
A third shared: "I don’t care how high someone’s IQ is, I’m not letting them do brain surgery on me based on that. Give me a surgeon with a lower IQ, but with the necessary training and qualifications."
The man who made the post later added in the comments: "Having a good IQ is a plus, but it's just one piece of the puzzle. A solid resume with skills, experience,e and accomplishments shows how you apply that intelligence in real life."
