The victim of a terrifying shark attack revealed his horror injuries after his hero mates fought to save the young man's life.
Chance Armand had been spearfishing with his pals but his trip turned into a disaster when he saw a shark'sshadow and swam for his life in an attempt to escape the dangerous creature and reach the surface. The victim desperately called to his friends for help but a bull shark caught up to him before Chance's pals were able to drag him back onto the boat.
He was later pictured grinning back on the boat while his leg was covered in blood after the predator tried to rip his foot off. It comes after another shark attack horror as a boy, 7, had his leg shredded in an idyllic bay.

Chance had been spearfishing with pals just 20 miles offshore from the Pensacola Pass, in northern Florida, when he was mauled, according to WALA.
Chance said: "By the time I acknowledged he wasn’t gonna turn around, it was too late. I didn’t really have time to, you know, react otherwise besides put my knee between myself and the shark, and thankfully, once he got a bite of my knee and realized that’s not what he was after, he turned around and swam back down."
The man shared how his friends were able to quickly pull him out of the water and avoid a more horrific ending. His pals used a t-shirt, a speargun band and a fillet knife to come up with a make-shift tourniquet.

He posed for a picture with his bloodied leg on the boat before paramedics met the spearfisher at the dock and rushed him to a local hospital. In one of these pictures, the man posed with his tongue sticking out as he held up a cap that said South East Spearfishing on it.
Chance said: "By the grace of God, there was no tendon damage, no bone damage, no artery damage, it’s just one giant, gnarly flesh wound." The shark attack victim added that this horror incident won't stop him from heading spearfishing but he will bring a first aid kit and tourniquet with him next time.
This horror incident comes after a seven-year-old boy had his leg shredded in an idyllic holiday hotspot. The boy had been playing with nine other youngsters in the picturesque Taioha'e Bay, in French Polynesia, when the creature struck. The boy was bitten on the arm and leg on July 25, according to local officials.
A firefighter who helped the child with serious bite wounds said: "I'm 35 years old and this is the first time I've seen this. These were long and deep wounds."
He added: "It's probably related to the fish carcasses that fishermen throw in this area. There are many sharks, such as blacktips, hammerheads, and lemon sharks."
The child was taken to the island's small hospital before being airlifted to the French Polynesia hospital centre in Tahiti, around 1,500km (930 miles) from Nuku Hiva.
