Oasis fans are hoping for a slight change to the normal proceedings at the sold-out shows in London after the death of Ozzy Osbourne. The Black Sabbath frontman died on the morning of July 22, the family confirmed, just weeks after his farewell show at Villa Park in Birmingham. Now fans of the newly-reunited Manchester band are hoping brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher will pay tribute to the War Pigs singer at their Wembley shows.
The Live '25 tour is set to kick off in London tomorrow (July 25), and with Oasis already paying tribute to thelate Liverpool football player Diogo Jota, who died in a car crash in Spain on July 3 along with his brother, fans of the band are hoping similar respects are paid to the 76-year-old rock icon.
A post to the r/Oasis subreddit saw fans share Ozzy's thoughts on the band, which were given in an interview around the time the band were topping the charts.

The 'Prince of Darkness' said at the time: "Everybody says they [Oasis] rip them [The Beatles] off, but I don't think so.
"It's dead easy to start a forest fire in this game. You say 'Ozzy's got a false nose.' All of a sudden, everyone looks the same. Same thing with Oasis. Everyone just kept saying it and it stuck."
Ozzy's defence of the band has been praised by fans who believe the Gallagher brothers should pay tribute to the late singer.
Fans believe a tribute to the beloved singer is an inevitable addition to the show. One user wrote: "Big picture of him during Live Forever at the next show, guarantee it."
Another added: "I'll be shocked if there isn't at least his face on screen during Live Forever. Noel's always spoken very highly of him in return, and they used to be neighbours. Plus he does a f**king great Ozzy impression."
A third shared: "I’m absolutely sure they will, we know the lads genuinely love and respect the greats."
Many fans believe Live Forever will be dedicated to Osbourne, as was the case for the Cardiff kick-off shows which paid tribute to Jota.
One fan wrote: "They're very likely to - the fondness was mutual, and they did the same for Diogo Jota when that car crash happened - put his jersey up at one of the Cardiff shows, think it was opening night?"
Another added: "I will burst into tears if they do acknowledge him cos I'm there on Friday. I was at Ozzy's farewell show 2 weeks ago."
A third shared: "I think they’ll do something similar to what they did with Jota, have him flash up on the big screen at the end of Live Forever."
Oasis has been praised by fans across the globe for the start of their Live '25 shows, and some are still holding out hope for new material from the Gallagher brothers once the tour is over.
