Tindall was asked about Howe when speaking to before the weekend game. "He was taken to hospital on Friday evening, so everybody wishes him the best and I'm sure he'll be back with us again soon," he said.
On the subject of team selection, he added: "I think when you've been ill all week it's very difficult to have the kind of input that I'm sure he'd normally have, but the way we work we know the expectations, we've got a fantastic group of players, and they know the demands that the manager and everybody else will put on them, so it's important that they go out and deliver the performance that the manager will be proud of."

Howe's Newcastle players got the better of Manchester United on Sunday to keep their hopes of qualification alive. Harvey Barnes scored twice in a 4-1 victory, with Sandro Tonali and Bruno Guimaraes on target either side of his brace.
"I've just seen a message from him before I came to do the press congratulating the performance from everybody and the team," Tindall told Sky Sports after the victory. "He was able to watch it and I'm sure that will have lifted his spirits."
The victory lifted Newcastle to fourth, with a game in hand over the teams directly below them in the table. That game in hand comes against Palace on Wednesday, in a fixture which was initially due to be played on the weekend when Newcastle won the Carabao Cup final.
