Eamonn Holmes sparked concern amongst fans when he fell off his chair live on TV. The presenter on GB News when he suffered the fall.

He paused what he was saying, whilst a woman could be heard saying "oh my gosh". A crash could be heard followed by Eamonn saying: "I'm fine, fine, fine, carry on, carry on." Moments later, the show went to an advertisement break.
One concerned fan wrote online: "What just happened to Eamonn Holmes on ? Big crashing sound then straight to adverts. Hope all ok," whilst another said: "Hope he's ok!"

Following the advertisement break, the show returned with Eamonn at the helm once again. He quipped: "I'm alive," before explaining to co-host Ellie Costello: "They're very wonky wheels on chairs we've got here, as a matter of fact we don't really like the chairs here. It was a shock for me because I had a fall two weeks ago in my bathroom that hospitalised me and that hit me right in the back."
Just two weeks ago, Eamonn revealed
In the caption, the star shared: "An unexpected journey this morning ….. bit of a fall on the bathroom floor. Gosh it hurts . Thank you Ambulance crew", alongside four clapping emojis. In a later post, he added: "Not how I wanted to be spending The Holiday weekend ..... but life's not easy these days. Thanks to everybody who is looking after me."

Eamonn uses a wheelchair or crutches due to chronic back pain, which was caused by a dislocated pelvis and also has two slipped discs. He later underwent surgery but suffered a setback when he fell down the stairs while recovering, which led to a broken shoulder and he has also undergone a procedure on his spine and neck back in 2023.
He has been open about his struggles with pain, sharing online recently: "Even when the sun shines there's pain. Sometimes I feel I'll never beat this disc immobility but I'm determined to have a life ….. so pray for me, help me or get out of the way social media haters."
Eamonn had his hip replaced back in 2016 at the age of 55, hoping it would alleviate his chronic hip, leg and back pain, which made him suffer with "sleepless nights". He explained that his hip had caused him issues with driving and being physically active.
Things turned worse in 2021 when he suffered three slipped discs, which affect his movement in his right leg. It meant he had to use a stick to walk and in 2022, he underwent surgery and said the pain had improved.
