Movie megastar Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is bringing his unique brand of Hollywood magic to this year's Pride of Britain Awards.
The iconic actor was in London last week to talk about his Oscar-tipped new film The Smashing Machine, which is released Friday October 3. And he took time out to give one young Pride of Britain winner the surprise of his life.
The jaw-dropping moment, and the winner's story, will be revealed on ITV later this month, when viewers will be inspired by the schoolboy's incredible achievements. The Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards, with P&O Cruises, honour the nation's unsung heroes.

The Rock is the latest in a long line of big screen icons to pay tribute to winners, including Sharon Stone, Pierce Brosnan, Robert Downey Jr, Dame Helen Mirren, Idris Elba, Emma Watson, Olivia Colman, Michael Sheen, Dame Maggie Smith and Dame Julie Walters.
More star guests for the 2025 Awards will be revealed as we count down to the big night, and this week we announced plans for the biggest red carpet live stream in the awards' history, featuring social sensations Pete Wicks and Sam Thompson, GK Barry and Mark and Roxanne Hoyle - better known as Ladbaby.
