'Trading kids for a monkey'

A Missouri mum has been taken into custody amid allegations that she may have traded one of her foster kids for a monkey.

Brenda Deutsch, of Winfield, Missouri, who fostered more than 200 children and also had a hobby for collecting exotic animals, is now facing three felony charges: neglect, child abuse, and child endangerment. According to Lincoln County prosecutor Mike Wood, the case involves a missing child who was later found in Texas.

A Nevada man was arrested after authorities discovered seven tigers living in his home, which he claimed were his “emotional support animals” - because apparently, a weighted blanket just doesn’t roar loud enough.

Karl Mitchell, 71, was taken into custody after officials raided his property in Pahrump and found the big cats lounging around like it was the Serengeti Spa & Wellness Center. Authorities say Mitchell didn’t have the special animal permit required by Nye County.

A Christian nationalist pastor in Tennessee says he refuses to walk through airport scanners because he’s afraid the “gay beam” will turn him homosexual.

A Walmart shoplifter with a need for speed - and a wildly on-the-nose name - has finally been caught after boosting over £16,000 worth of merchandise.

The suspect? None other than Speedy Gonzalez.

The 40-year old whose five-finger discount strategy included stuffing an empty bin with loot, then casually scanning only the trash can at self-checkout like he was buying a scented candle.
