Amy Childs 'all over the place' as mum rushed to hospital after a heart attack

The mum-of-four apologised to friends she hadn't replied to over the weekend as she revealed the scary incident took place on Friday night. Amy went on to share that her "incredibly strong" mum Julie is on the mend in hospital now and is being cared for.

Taking to her Stories this morning, Amy shared a snap of mum Julie with two of her children and told fans: "We had very worrying news last Friday. My mum had a heart attack Friday evening, I've been having loads of messages from close friends (sorry I haven't got back to some of you)."

Amy continued by saying her mum, Julie, is set to have a stent fitted this week and commended her for being incredibly strong during this tough time.

She then told her 1.1million followers: "Mum is doing ok, she is going to hopefully be having a stent put in this week! She is so bloody strong but she needs rest.

"I've been all over the place this week but mum is in the best heart hospital where she is being looked after so well. Love you mum @mrsjuliechilds." Hopefully your be home soon to celebrate your 60th. Love you more then anything mum xxx."

Amy admitted she "was a complete mess" as her daughter Polly, was whisked away for a tonsillectomy. The 34 year old shared emotional images of her daughter Polly, just moments before her operation.

One picture captured Polly smiling bravely in mint green pjs on a hospital bed, accompanied by her mum's words: "My brave girl this morning. All ready to have her tonsils out! One very stressed mummy."

Another snapshot showed Polly in a hospital gown just before being taken down for surgery. Amy told her followers: "Polly has just gone down, she was so brave. I on the other hand was a complete mess. Will update you all soon. Thank you for all your lovely messages."

Earlier in the month, Amy sought solace from her social media community, sharing a sunny throwback pic of Polly in Tenerife, voicing her anxiety: "Just love this picture of you Polly.

"My darling girl has got to have her tonsils out next week, nervous and worried is an understatement, I had mine out when I was 4. Tonsillitis every 4/6 weeks, she really has been through it bless her, so the best outcome is to get her tonsils out."

The celeb mum shared her concerns with followers, saying: "Going to update you next week when she has them out.. a very worried mummy. How long roughly till she is ok after operation? ? 2 weeks??"
