Aldi is adjusting its opening times this Easter weekend. There are two to take into account - the first is Good Friday on April 18, then there is Easter Monday on April 21.
If you're an shoppers, the good news is there will still be plenty of opportunities to visit its stores this weekend. Aldi shops will remain open as normal from 8am until 10pm this Good Friday and Easter Saturday. But on Easter Sunday, the majority of Aldi shops will be closed for the day - apart from in Scotland, where shops are allowed to stay open.
Large shops over 280 square meters are required by law to close on Easter Sunday. Smaller shops can stay open, although they normally reduce their opening times. Trading rules are different in , where all stores are allowed to stay open on Easter Sunday, regardless of their size.
Aldi will then reopen its stores nationwide on Easter Monday, although they will close slightly earlier than usual. Instead of being open 8am until 10pm, most Aldi stores will close at 8pm. You can find the opening times for your local Aldi by checking its . Aldi has more than 1,000 stores across the UK.
It comes as major slash the price of their vegetables to as low as 8p ahead of Easter weekend. The vegetables that have cut to 8p each are 1kg of white potatoes, 1kg of carrots and broccoli. This deal is live in stores now and runs until April 21, or April 20 in Scotland stores.
Aldi has also revealed the quietest times for shoppers ahead of the Easter weekend. The supermarket is advised shoppers that between 8am and 9am, or later in the evening between 8pm and 10pm, will be the quietest times to pick up your Easter shopping.

It comes as new research from Aldi revealed that Britain is moving away from the traditional Easter meal of roast lamb (18%), with chicken appearing to be the most popular meat (23%) and some even planning to enjoy a BBQ (13%) or Easter brunch (16%) instead.
