History of Nahargarh Fort

Nahargarh means the abode of tigers. This fort was built specifically to protect Jaipur from attacking enemies. Earlier this fort was named Sudarshangarh, but later this fort was named after Yuvraj Nahar Singh, who was murdered here. Actually, the ghost of the prince wanted that this fort be named after him. It is said that during the construction of the fort, many such activities took place, due to which the laborers working here were forced to run away in fear. Apart from tourism, this fort is also very famous for shooting of Bollywood films. Actor Aamir Khan's film Rang De Basanti was shot here. After this, this fort became even more famous among the people. Later, late actor Sushant Singh Rajput also shot here for his film Shuddh Desi Romance.
