Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt has amassed a loyal fanbase over the years, and he has also had his fair share of crazy fan moments. He recently revealed how a fan had left him property worth whopping Rs 72 crore before her death and also shared what he did with the money later.
During a chat with Curly Tales, Dutt was asked if it was indeed true that a female fan left behind the humongous wealth to his name before her death in 2018, to which the actor replied in the affirmative.
When asked what he did with the money, he shared, "I gave it back to her family."

Sanjay Dutt's career
Sanjay Dutt, the son of legendary stars Sunil Dutt and Nargis Dutt, marked his Bollywood debut in 1981 with the film, Rocky, and became an overnight sensation. He went on to star in films like Vidhaata, Naam, Saajan, Khal Nayak and Vaastav over the years, and became one of the most sought-after actor in tinsel town.
However, his career hit a major setback after he was arrested under the Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act (TADA) for illegal possession of weapons which were linked to the 1993 Bombay bombings.

He was later convicted in the Arms Act and was sentenced to five years in jail. Due to multiple bails and paroles, he finally completed his jail term in 2016.
In 2003, he bounced back with the blockbuster Munna Bhai MBBS, and the film has achieved a cult status over the years.

Directed by his best friend, filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani, it saw Ranbir Kapoor essay the role of Dutt. The film emerged to be one of the highest-grossing films of Indian cinema.
Sanjay Dutt's upcoming projects
Dutt has been on a film-signing spree of late, and he has five films in 2025 alone. While two of them -- The Bhootnii and Housefull 5 -- have already released in theatres, he has Akhanda 2, Dhurandhar, and The RajaSaab scheduled for release later this year.

He will also star in the Kannada film, KD - The Devil, which is set to release next year.
