The Sanatan Sanstha founded by Dr Jayant Athavale with a view to establish Sanatan Rashtra will celebrate the silver jubilee of the organisation with a three day "Shankhnaad Mahotsav" from May 17 onwards at the Goa Engineering College grounds, Farmagudi, Ponda, Goa.
According to spokesperson Balwant Pathak, the convention will be attended several luminaries, including Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, chief ministers Devendra Fadnavis (Maharashtra), Vishnu Deo Sai (Chhattisgarh), Dr Pramod Sawant (Goa), Eknath Shinde, Dy CM (maharashtra), Adv Vishnu Shankar Jain and Raja Singh, MLA.
The programme will begin with the lighting of lamp on May 17 followed by the chanting of the name of Shriram one crore time. An exhibition of weapons from the times of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj will also be held on the occasion.
