Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Himanshu Prajapati, the Executive Director of Regional Office of MP Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) has said that an Export Promotion Cell is formed within MPIDC for the promotion of export from the region.
The cell is constantly available to help new exporters. It will continue to organise workshops in other districts of the region as well. Our first goal is to create 100 new exporters in 100 days.
Prajapati said the above while addressing a workshop named ‘Coffee with Exporters’ organised by MPIDC Regional Office here on Friday. The workshop was organised under ‘Mission export from MP’ motto. More than 100 exporters, startups and entrepreneurs who want to begin export attended the workshop.
The objective of the workshop was to generate local exporters and innovators, aware them about the export process, government assistance, government schemes, branding, quality standards, financial management and international market, so that they can successfully participate in global competition.
Govt Hospitals Being Equipped With Latest Machines: Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan YadavPrajapati, shared that more than ₹66k crore worth of exports are being made from the state, in which Indore division's contribution is more than 40%. It was also informed that exports of major cities of the country are comparable to our state, so we need to do a lot of work in this area. To fulfill this objective, the state government wants to take every product to the global market that has export potential.
Other speakers of the workshop were Swapnil Garg, General Manager, District Trade and Industry Centre, Vikas Patkar, Branch Manager ECGC Indore, Nilesh Trivedi, Assistant Director MSME Development Institute, Amit Kumar Beretha, MP Chapter Head, Federation of Indian Export Organisation (FIEO) and Rakesh Agarwal, CEO Wilson Enterprises, Prakalp Jain, Managing Director, Effologic informed the participants about the intricacies of export of their respective subjects.
The 'Coffee with Exporters' programme showed that Madhya Pradesh has now moved beyond 'Make in India' and has taken a strong and inspiring step towards realising the concept of 'Ship from India' at the ground level.
