Mumbai: The examinations scheduled for August 8, 2025 (Friday) under the faculties of Arts, Science, Commerce, Education, and Pharmacy, as well as those under the Centre for Distance & Online Education (CDOE), have been rescheduled after the Goverment of Maharashtra declared a holiday on Narali Purnima.
"The Principal of the affiliated Colleges in Arts, Science, Commerce, Education & Pharmacy and the Director Centre for Distance & Online Education (CDOE) are hereby informed that the tomorrow's examinations dated 08/08/2025 are rescheduled due to Local Holiday (NARALI POURNIMA) and revised date will be announce later."
"They are requested to inform the concerned candidates accordingly, the revised date will be announced soon," a circular posted on X from Mumbai University's official X handle read."
Due to the local holiday of Narali Pournima, the examination scheduled for August 8, 2025, has been rescheduled.

The state government on Thursday issued an official corrigendum updating two public holidays for Mumbai and its suburban districts. The amendment modifies an earlier notification of last year.
Dahi Handi (Gopalkala) and Anant Chaturdashi holidays have been replaced by Narali Purnima and Jyeshtha Gauri Visarjan (September 2).
