Delhi University (DU) has introduced the Vice-Chancellor Internship Scheme (VCIS) 2025 for regular undergraduate and postgraduate students. This internship will function under the Central Placement Cell (CPC) of the Office of the Dean of Student Welfare (DSW). Selected students will receive a stipend, and the applications will remain valid for six months.

Number of Seats: 200 students (may vary based on the Dean’s recommendation and Vice-Chancellor approval)

Eligibility: Only regular DU students enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate courses can apply. Each student can avail of VCIS only once during their study at DU.
Interested students can register online through the official website: dsw.du.ac.in. Once submitted, the application will remain valid for six months.
Stipend Details-
Regular Internship: ₹5,000 per month

Summer Internship: ₹10,000 per month

The stipend will increase by 5% annually.

On completion, students will receive a certificate of experience from the Dean of Student Welfare, based on reports from the concerned department or organization.
The maximum duration of any internship under VCIS is six months from the joining date.

Regular Internship: Flexible 8–10 hours per week during the academic session.

Summer Internship: 8-week program during summer vacation, requiring 15–20 hours per week as per the student’s convenience.
This initiative aims to enhance students’ practical skills, research interest, and professional exposure while studying at DU.
