UPSSSC PET Exam 2025: Prepare with a smart plan
For better results in UPSSSC PET 2025, it is important to first understand the syllabus and exam pattern. Decide the study strategy by knowing how many questions are in each subject and their difficulty level. Manage time properly till the exam. Read difficult or theory subjects in the morning and focus on revision and mock tests in the evening. Also focus on current affairs and general knowledge, especially on the latest events at the state and national levels.
Improve weak areas in mathematics and reasoning, and increase speed with shortcut techniques. Practice grammar, idioms, synonyms, and antonyms in the Hindi language daily.
For data interpretation and comprehension questions, work on graphs, tables, and passages as they are easy to score. Apart from this, keep solving previous year question papers and mock tests; this strengthens both time understanding and confidence.
This will be the exam pattern.
UP PET 2025 will be in offline (OMR-based) mode. There will be a total of 100 questions in the exam, and each question will be worth 1 mark. 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong answers. Candidates will get 2 hours for the exam. Questions will be in both Hindi and English.
Subjects included in the exam are: General Knowledge, Hindi, Reasoning, Mathematics, General Science, Current Affairs, and Data Interpretation. Questions of about 30 marks will be asked from parts like unseen passages, graphs, and table analysis.
Important Instructions
The UPSSSC PET 2025 exam will be held on September 6 and 7. The exam will be held in two shifts:
1st shift: 10 am to 12 noon
2nd shift: 3 pm to 5 pm
Candidates are required to bring an admit card along with an identity card, water bottle, mask, and ballpoint pen to the exam center. As per the marking scheme, 1 mark will be awarded for the correct answer, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for the wrong answer.
