Rodrygo continues to be linked with a move to Arsenal.
The Gunners have so far completed three signings in summer 2025 - Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard. Next on the list are Viktor Gyokores and Noni Madueke, with deals in the pipeline for the attacking duo.
Reinforcements up front were always on Arsenal's agenda looking ahead to the new season and if they can take their additions to a total of five, it remains to be seen how far their recruitment will go before September's transfer deadline.

Rodrygo, who has fallen down the pecking order at Real Madrid, is another winger continuously linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium whilst his place in the Spanish capital is uncertain.
The question of that transfer to Arsenal has now been directly presented to the player himself.
A video uploaded to TikTok by the user @the_bros2 on Thursday, July 10 showed a chance encounter with Rodrygo on a New York City street. The Real Madrid star posed for a photograph, which was actually a video, and was asked: "Are you going to Arsenal?"
He did not say a word in response as he moved on to pose with another fan taking a selfie.
It is likely that Rodrygo, a natural Portuguese speaker hailing from Brazil, simply did not understand the question. A report from Diario AS dated November 2023 claims he does understand a basic amount of English.
Regardless, 'Arsenal' is a name that transcends languages as they will be recognised as a Champions League competitor.
Having sat out Carlo Ancelotti's final five matches as manager at the end of the 2024/25 campaign, there was the potential for Rodrygo's place to be restored under new boss Xabi Alonso at the FIFA Club World Cup.
The 24-year-old was named in the starting XI for the group stage opener vs Al-Hilal but from then on, in five more fixtures at the tournament, he was kept on the bench.
That included during their final match, the 4-0 semi-final defeat to Paris Saint-Germain one day before the video of Rodrygo was posted online. The winger was not even introduced as a substitute.
"I didn't play Rodrygo for a technical decision. We thought we would be better off with other players. It's not about his future," Alonso insisted as to his decision-making.
