Indore: A 16-year-old girl, who was injured in an accident in Khudel a week ago succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at MY Hospital on Thursday.
Asha, along with her friends Priyanka and Shivani, went out on a scooter to eat pani puri when an unidentified vehicle hit them. The impact left all three unconscious on the road. They were rushed to the trauma centre and Asha was later admitted to MY Hospital with severe head injuries. She remained unconscious until her passing.
According to the family, Priyanka and Shivani are undergoing treatment at different private hospitals. The identity of the vehicle driver is yet to be ascertained. The police are investigating the case.
Man killed as unknown vehicle hits bike
A 30-year-old motorcyclist was killed after being hit by an unidentified vehicle in Banganga area on Wednesday evening.
The accident occurred near Namkeen Cluster, where Khema Rai, 30, who works as a labourer, was found critically injured on the road. Passers-by immediately called an ambulance but he succumbed to his injuries before reaching the hospital.
The police have launched an investigation into the matter.
